Responsibilities + Lead mid-level engineering projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communication. + Develop and implement control strategies in collaboration with Operations and Engineering teams. + Maintain system documentation, as-built drawings, and control system records to ensure a strong state of control. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and automation performance. + Research, evaluate, and select automation technologies and equipment to support business objectives. + Develop calibration, preventive maintenance, and operational procedures for control systems and instrumentation. Skills & Qualifications + 5+ years experience with process control systems including instrumentation, automated control, and electrical distribution + Experience in programming/troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). + Experience in programming and configuration of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems Preferred + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred + Experience working in chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries. + Experience with Allen-Bradley, Modicon, and Siemens S7 PLCs + Experience with Wonderware products + AutoCad experience + Experience with network and system administration of Microsoft based systems, Visual Basic, and SQL Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
