Our comprehensive range of services includes laboratory consulting,real estate services, instrumentation repair and maintenance, full assetmanagement, and more-covering the entire spectrum of life sciences facilities.With expertise across various life sciences categories, CBRE is a leader inmanaging highly-regulated spaces within the industry. **About the Role:** In this role you will provide support, technical expertise, assist ininstrument acquisition, instrument management specific to the pharmaceuticalresearch and development industry. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function.They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical clientenvironments. **What You'll Do:** + Review andupdate equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures. + Completecomplex documentation (instrument qualifications, change controls, Deviations...)associated with work activities in a timely and accurate manner. + Provide supportfor laboratory operations to always ensure a state of compliance and inspectionreadiness. + Coordinatequalification activities, Author / Update qualification documents. + Supportinstrument data archiving (software support) for decommissioning and retiringinstrumentation. TrackwiseChange controls and deviations owner, responsible for investigations andensuring the Change Control and/or Deviation is accurately documented. + Ensure IQ/OQ/PQprotocols completed by CBRE technicians are second person verified (SPV) by clientpersonnel upon CBRE completion. + Ensuring thatall qualification activities are documented. + Testing plan isexecuted. + Results aredocumented. + Results meetthe acceptance criteria. + Applychromatography principles to interpret abnormalities in the chromatogram peakshape, retention time, and baseline. + Implementclient scope of services and ensure all programs and procedures are beingproperly followed. + Managecontractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, and administration. + Verifycompliance with performance, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements,and company policies, standards, and procedures. + Apply advancedknowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing bothindividual and department objectives. + Showcaseexpertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplineswithin the organization function. + Lead by exampleand model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipatespotential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and ofdivergent interest, to adopt a different point of view. + Impact theachievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives acrossmulti-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact thedesign of procedures and policies. + Contribute tonew products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support ofachieving functional goals. + Communicatedifficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence. **What You'llNeed:** + High SchoolDiploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will beconsidered. Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred. + Knowledge ofsetup, operation, and maintenance of HPLC/UPLC instrumentation + Meet thephysical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more. + The innovativementality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions. + Ability tosolve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broadimpact on the business. + In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc. + Expertorganizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Highlysophisticated math skills. The minimum salary for the QA/QC Specialist position is $70,000 per year and the maximum salary for the QA/QC Specialist position is $85,000 per year. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
