Job DescriptionImplement, execute, ensure compliance with the Kraft Heinz EHS policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA/ (i.e. Lockout, Haz Com, Machine Safety, SARA, RCRA, etc.)Manage local EHS budgetLead the development and implementation of the EHS Annual Operating Plans and EHS Action Plans for the locationAbility to build and execute Strategy and InitiativesAchieve annual targets rates for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, and EnvironmentalEnsure compliance with applicable occupational safety and environmental regulationsDevelop, implement, execute, and manage strategies to prevent workplace injuries, and environmental incidentsDemonstrate solid employee relations experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skillsDisplay strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skillsDemonstrate professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader by influencing all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement in safety performanceConduct EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements, Kraft Heinz Management System standards, Emergency Response and internal Kraft Heinz EHS proceduresPerform risk assessments and assist in the implementation of effective physical and/ or behavioral control measures. Recognize and verify the effectiveness of in-place control measuresIdentify unsafe equipment operation and conditions while demonstrating knowledge of appropriate corrective action for unsafe conditions or equipment useExercise a leadership, coordination, and communication role with the location leadership to drive continuous EHS improvement across the locationComplete root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans to address root basic causes and management system weak-spots using industry-recognized cause analysis techniquesProvide ongoing coaching, development, and performance feedback to direct reports to strengthen EHS capability, accountability, and leadership effectiveness, in alignment with Kraft Heinz standards and business objectives.Qualifications:Minimum 3- 5 years' managerial experience in EHSEffective communication and interpersonal skills including public speaking skills and presence in meetings and training environmentsWork collaboratively with colleagues to create a result driven, team-oriented environmentMaintain confidentialityMake independent decisionsDemonstrate excellent organizational skillsUse PC and related software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlinesPreferred Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in safety and environmental management, Industrial Hygiene or equivalentProfessional designations such as a Certified Hazard Control Manager (CHCM), 30-hour OSHA Certified, Certification in Ergonomics, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Associate Safety professional (ASP)Safety management experience in a related industry, including consumer packaged goods, distribution/transportation, manufacturing or grocery industrySafety degree and/or related certificationKnowledge and experience with EHS Management systems and their deploymentEHS auditingASP, CSP, CIH, and/or CHMM desirable#INDMFGSOur Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz' strategy and values.New Hire Base Salary Range:$104,200.00 - $130,200.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsBenefits: Coverage for employees (and their eligible dependents) through affordable access to healthcare, protection, and saving for the future, we offer plans tailored to meet you and your family's needs.
