(Hybrid position)A Day in the LifeAs Senior Global Manager of Strategic Planning you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end planning function, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, robust supply planning, and optimal inventory management. This role will drive planning strategy, develop high-performing teams, implement S&OP tools, and collaborate cross functionally to support revenue targets, product availability, profitability, and operational efficiency.Responsibility: Leadership & StrategyLead and mentor the planning team (demand, supply, and regional planning)Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement industry's best practicesOwn and evolve the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processDemand PlanningOversee development of accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligencePartner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to align demand expectations and promotional activitiesTrack forecast accuracy/BIAS and drive corrective actionsSupply Planning & Inventory ManagementCreate supply plans that balance capacity, lead times, and customer service requirementsOptimize inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess/obsolete stockCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Finance to support production and fulfilmentLead planning meetings and executive reporting for S&OPEscalate and communicate risks while driving mitigation strategiesMust Have:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, engineering or related field7+ years of experience in supply chain planning with 5+ years in a leadership roleNice to Have:Proven experience managing demand or supply planning teams in a complex environment (global, multi-site, regulated, etc.)Strong analytical, Excel, and ERP/MRP system skillsExperience with S&OP or IBP processesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMaster's degree or MBAAPICS / CPIM / CSCP certificationExperience with advanced planning tools or AI-driven forecastingLean / Six Sigma or process improvement experienceWe offer a competitive salary with bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits package.
