Join us!THE ROLEThe Accounting Intern will support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.This internship requires a minimum of 16 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, with additional hours available during academic breaks (e.g., winter and summer).Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and upload journal entries to support monthly close activitiesPerform account reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepanciesConduct account analysis to support financial reporting and decision-makingSupport strategic projects, including ERP implementation, contract analysis, and record retention initiativesDocument accounting procedures and assist in improving internal processesPrepare schedules and provide supporting documentation for internal and external auditsPerform ad hoc analysis and projects as neededEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policiesQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
