JOB OVERVIEW:The Human Resources Intern will assist with administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resources department with more focus on recruitment.In this role, you will gain hands on experience in diverse HR specialties. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in human resources, talent acquisition, benefits, onboarding, leaves, etc.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Human Resources, Communications, or relatedMinimum GPA of 3.0 PreferredPrior internship or relevant work experience is a plusQUALIFICATIONS:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an eagerness to learn HR systemsRESPONSIBILITIES:Assist Talent Acquisition with developing, updating and electronically filling job descriptionsCollaborate with department and plant managers to review and update job descriptionsRun reports and auditing job titles in ADPAssist with Open Enrollment benefit reporting and auditsSupport other specialties as needed (Leaves, Onboarding, Pre-employment, etc.)Potential local day trips to some of our production sites for benefits open enrollment meetings
