Ab Initio Developer

Ab Initio Developer Charlotte, NC Long term Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Conduct>IT, etc.) Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize data processing workflows for performance and reliability. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity. Maintain and enhance existing Ab Initio applications and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve data and ETL issues in a timely manner. Document technical designs, processes, and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio tools (GDE, EME, Conduct>IT, etc.) Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices. Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, etc.) Experience with performance tuning and large-scale data processing. Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred, but not required: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data migration. Knowledge of data governance and data security practices. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with other ETL tools or big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
