Candidates cannot be considered until the survey has been completed.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties include the following but are not limited to:Reads & Interprets Advisor write-ups to properly diagnose vehicle performance concernsCommunicates with GM Technical Assistance (TAC) to obtain current diagnostic & repair proceduresMaintains GM and State Training Certifications for all qualified repair categoriesWorks to obtain additional certifications as shop training needs and workload allowClearly documents repair procedures on Repair Orders in compliance with GM Warranty and State requirementsCoordinates with Parts Warehouse to obtain quotes and order necessary parts for jobsWorks closely with Foreman and Manager to prioritize work for good CSIMaintains production average commensurate with experiencePerforms thorough test drives to verify customers' concerns and repair qualityPerforms and thoroughly documents inspections on each vehicle to ensure customers are informed of maintenance and repair needs beyond the initial complaint/concernQualificationsGM and State Certifications beyond basic maintenance and suspension requiredTransmission, Heavy Engine Repair and Diesel strongly preferredClean DMV recordAuthorized to work in the United States and MichiganObtain/Maintain a personal tool collection appropriate for experience and work desired.Careers at Jim Winter Auto GroupYou are looking for more than just a job.
