Summary: This position is responsible for providing practical organizational change management solutions for changes driven by one or more functions within Human Resources. The HR Change Manager is responsible for change management assessment, strategy development, planning, and templates and supports relevant functional or operational leader in gaining leadership engagement, communications planning, and training solutions. The HR Change Manager develops and enhances supporting methodologies and tool sets based on healthcare and consulting best practices, and approaches each Human Resources initiative from a system lens. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. Other information: * Bachelor's degree in related discipline (e.g., Human Resources Operations, Business Management, Psychology, Communications, Organizational Behavior, Organization Development or similar fields) * 5 years of experience providing change management solutions in support of large scale process/technology projects and/or other transformational initiatives. * Must have experience in developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations to assist in selling work to clients. * Experience in change management areas such as communications, training and support, leadership engagement or change network management. * Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience. Additional Job Information: * Hours outside normal business hours may be occasionally required to meet project deadlines. Responsibilities: * Advises HR functional leaders in the end-to-end process of rolling out a change in their policy, process, or procedure that will impact the organization. * Helps identify and document organizational impacts of Human Resources initiatives and planning strategies, leading to successful adoption of change. * Assesses organizational and departmental cultures, capabilities, and alignment to effectively tailor HR change management approaches. * Supports and enables HR functional leaders to develop and enact change management strategies by supporting functional/operational leaders with: o Developing comprehensive organizational change management strategies and plans o Identifying change risks and developing mitigation strategies o Leading the development and execution of communication strategies and plans o Working with Learning & Development to analyze learning needs, develop training approaches and curricula, and support the development of in-person, virtual, and on-demand training programs o Conducting train-the-trainer sessions and classroom-based training sessions o Assessing the effectiveness of communication and training o Assessing organization readiness for change and developing interventions to improve alignment o Managing functional area budgeting and invoicing as necessary o Developing goals for change management, along with effective approaches for sustaining measuring effectiveness and goal achievement following implementation * Leads change impact and stakeholder analysis and develops change management approaches and strategies tailored to clients' organizations and change goals. * Identifies issues and risks related to organizational change and develops mitigation plans. * Leads efforts to execute change management recommendations across areas such as vision/value definition and measurement, change communication, leadership engagement, organization alignment, and change sustainment. * Ensures the readiness of the client organization(s) for a variety of HR changes.
