Automotive TechnicianDescription of the roleLunghamer Ford is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Owosso, Michigan. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service to our customers.ResponsibilitiesTransmission experience preferredPerforming diagnostic tests and inspections on vehicles to identify issuesRepairing or replacing components in vehicles, such as engines, transmissions, and brakesConducting regular maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacementsEnsuring all repairs and maintenance work is completed accurately and in a timely mannerKeeping detailed records of all service and repair work performedCommunicating with customers to explain diagnostic findings and necessary repairsPerforming Multi Point Inspections per dealer & factory requirementsRequirementsMust possess State Certifications ASE preferred Proven experience as an Automotive TechnicianStrong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentGood communication and customer service skillsBenefits- Competitive compensation: $40 - $55 per hour- Health, Dental & Vision Insurance - Retirement savings plan 401k with company match- Paid time off, Holiday Pay- Factory Paid training and development opportunitiesAbout the CompanyLunghamer Ford is a premier Ford dealership located in Owosso, Michigan.
