Parks and Recreation Building Supervisor

Under general supervision, this non-exempt position performs various duties pertaining to the rental of Johnston's community center and park buildings. Examples of Duties The following duties are typical for this position, but are dependent on the individual's level of skill, ability, and experience. They are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Early arrival and unlocking of the building before the scheduled rental time.Job duties:Early arrival and unlocking of the building before the scheduled rental time. Checking the facility for cleanliness, safety issues, and ensuring HVAC systems are working properly. Periodically walk through the event to ensure order is kept, police presence is adequate, and the group is contained in the rental area. Overseeing special events and enforcing Facility Use Guidelines. Upholding all rental policies, communicating them to the renters, and noting any issues to the supervisor. Light custodial duties include, but are not limited to: stocking and cleaning restrooms, trash removal, and assisting clients with cleanup. Overseeing setup and tear down of tables and chairs as needed. Sign out contracted rental groups by performing a walk-through with the approved signed Leasee at the completion of the cleanup and completing the Facility Check Out Form after each rental. Ensure the facility is ready for the next rental. Locking the building after the event has concluded. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Hourly pay: $15 - $20Visit /jobs to apply today.
