Overall Purpose of the Job This person leads the Procurement team to procure goods and services required by Expro to the required specification, quality level, at a competitive price, delivered in a timely manner. The role has a change and process development element to instill best practise and continuous improvement through both leadership and execution. This role acts as the key interface between project execution teams and Expro's Supply Chain. Key Activities and Accountabilities Day-to-day coordination of activities across the assigned Procurement team and execution of the management processes including staff development, appraisals, etc. On going development of the procurement processes and procedures aligned with the SC strategy. Execute assigned buying portfolio from quotation to delivery. Develop and implement a supplier management strategy on assigned portfolio and through execution, demonstrate good supplier management practise to the rest of the team To ensure suppliers meet required HSEQ standards and that product delivered is to specification, on time and with no injuries. Responsible for continually working with suppliers to deliver cost reduction programs aligned with SCM goals Drive performance of the Procurement team to achieve KPI's as defined by management. Including but not limited to on time delivery, savings, and internal lead times. Assist in other purchasing/ departmental duties/ activities as detailed by the Regional Procurement Management. Adhere to the Expro Business Principles & Ethics and Code of Business Conduct of being reliable, trustworthy and fair. Avoiding conflicts of commercial interest, ensuring accuracy of information, maintaining confidentialities and by abstaining from all forms of corruption. Job Knowledge and Qualifications Proven experience in best practise SCM, team leadership and business process development. Minimum 3 years experience in a senior or similar role with supervisor responsibility for a procurement team. Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office essential with experience of SAP systems (preferred). Degree in Supply Chain Management or related subjects preferred.
