Job OverviewLAMB is looking to hire enthusiastic instructors to support students in our after school program. If you have experience with students in grades PK3 through 5th grade, apply today! This is a part-time position with work hours from 2:00 - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead engaging activities for PK3 - 5th grade studentsBe an energetic, engaged, and positive role model at all timesParticipate in staff meetings, professional development, special projects and eventsMaintain a daily schedule, classroom rules, the upkeep of equipment and supplies, and record-keepingAssist with arrival/dismissal and lunch/recess coverage, as neededOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications Experience working with students PK3 - 5th gradeHigh School Diploma or GEDCDA or enrolled in CDA classes preferredFluency in English OR Spanish required; bilingual preferredAbility to work with students of various abilities, including those with identified exceptionalitiesEnergetic, flexible, imaginative, and eager to work in a bilingual and multicultural public schoolMeet TB screening requirementsMust be able to pass a criminal background checkPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
