As the Compliance Coordinator - Buy America, you will be responsible for the reporting, bus costing calculations, audit support, audit or relationships, inquires and serving as a key business partner across GILLIG. This position is located in Pleasanton, CA office and reports directly to the Supervisor, Cost Accounting within the Finance Department. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILLResponsible for the Buy America certification process including Buy America content calculations, bus costing and preparing all certification documentationCreate standard templates to ensure compliance consistency and maintain audit packages of pre- and post-award Buy America compliance documentation in databaseCommunicate, coordinate and answer all inquiries with Buy America auditors as the key liaisonBusiness partner and provide direct support as a subject matter expert on Buy America compliance and regulations across GILLIG with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Parts, IT and Product StrategyBuild impactful working relationships with internal business partners, customers and contracted auditors to ensure best in class Buy America certification and audit fulfillmentIdentify and execute continuous improvement on costed bill of material formatting as it relates to maximum efficiency and compliance of Buy America auditsBusiness partner and coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure timeliness of annual supplier self-certification procurement and related ERP master data updatesOther cost accounting and projects as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONSAssociate Degree or higher in Business Administration requiredMinimum 2 years experience in Finance or Accounting requiredProficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookExperience in a financial module of an ERP such as Syteline, SAP, Oracle, etc. preferredGood verbal and written communication skillsOwnership skills demonstrating initiative and driveExcellent organization and time management skillsTeamwork skill set and ability to build impactful working relationships with both internal and external customers and business partnersWORK ENVIRONMENTAbility to lift 25 lbs.Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computerRegularly required to sit, stand, and walk and occasionally kneel or squatThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationLimited Travel RequiredStandard start time: 6:30AM (negotiable)Must be able to navigate manufacturing environment, comfortable around heavy machinery, tools, etc.Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, (i.e. safety glasses, bump caps, hearing protection, etc.)EXPECTED COMPENSATION $27.00-$37.00/per hour + premium benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
