Job DescriptionA leading global manufacturer of control and safety solutions is seeking an Electronics Engineer to support product testing, troubleshooting, and validation efforts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong electronics fundamentals and experience working with test equipment and circuit-level diagnostics. Working independently, the new hire will contribute to product quality by supporting testing and troubleshooting activities while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Salary + Additional Benefits: Base pay depends on experience Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401K - company match Location: Houston, TX Type of Position: Direct Hire Responsibilities: Provide functional testing and documentation on company products. Troubleshoot and repair circuit boards to component level as required. Operate electronics-related test equipment (Oscilloscope, function generator, multi-meter, etc.). Provide maintenance support for test fixtures. Assemble products including light mechanical and soldering. Prepare all company products for Chamber Screening. Perform cycle testing utilizing automated test software. Support other departments' technical and product needs as required. Label and properly handle nonconforming products. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. File test files in records retention as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: 4 Year Electrical Engineering / Technology degree or related work experience 3+ years of experience Soldering / desoldering experience Background in test methods and approaches with electronic devices Demonstrated LabView programming experience (development in software and hardware) Understanding of PCB hardware/analog IO/digital IO/serial communication Can support debugging test failures on the shop floor and assisting quality with debug/root cause activity Basic understanding of analog and digital circuitry Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to the component level Good working knowledge of PC computers and Microsoft Office applications Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
