Takes direction from and supports supervisor in the completion of assigned grounds maintenance requests and associated tasks. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent additional classes, certificates, or degrees associated with assigned work. Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in working with equipment/machinery and grounds work. Must possess a drivers license to get to various sites within the district as needed. Working Conditions: This position is responsible for assignments for Orangeburg County School District. Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing work priorities. Assignments may take place outdoors as well as indoors. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and communicate with others.
