The Installation Operations Manager oversees teams responsible for facilitating the installation of equipment and components for specified projects. They ensure their territory hired contractors are fulfilling all obligations, and work is carried out according to approved contracts, specifications, and schedules. Through reporting on-site, the Installation Operations Manager serves as a liaison with the customer project management teams by providing information regarding project progress and delays. They proactively work to resolve any site issues that may delay project completion. Requirements for Effective Performance: Supervise Project Coordinators/Specialists to cover all territories and time zones as well as maintaining a territory Coordinate turnkey installations of Zero Zone display cases, Zero Zone systems, competitor walk-ins, competitor cases, evaporators, condensers, Energy Management Systems, and electrical components Screen and authorize installation and warranty contractors Work with Account Managers and Account Coordinators to negotiate installation service agreements with regional and national installation companies and networks Negotiate and authorize related installation and service invoices Supports internal accounting department and Sales department in daily program management activities Hire and schedule installations for turnkey accounts Work with refrigeration contractors, general contractors, electricians, project managers, and construction managers to maintain install schedule. Review post installation checklists and photos Approve payment once complete and approved Report on installation metrics including failures, component issues, and on-site delays Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions to resolve problems during installation Create and revise installer Scope of Work (SOW), checklists, and training presentations as needed Create and revise department processes and procedures as needed Perform training webinars Assist Marketing department in the creation and distribution of installer technical bulletins related to specification and feature changes Create and manage internal change requests and orders Perform periodic on-site installation audits Submit monthly progress and status reports Execute daily Project Coordinator/Specialist duties and standard work while collaborating with Account Managers/Coordinators to improve customer installation process while simultaneously managing internal and field projects Other duties may be assigned.Requirements for Effective Performance: Associate's, Bachelor's, and/or Project Manager's degree preferred Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite and ERP systems (IFS preferred) Refrigeration Service Certificate preferred 7+ years of Installation Coordination or Project Management experience preferred 5+ years of supervising Customer Service, Project Management, or related experience Advanced understanding of basic accounts receivable and accounts payable math skillsSkills/Abilities/Specifications: Instruct daily Project Coordinator/Specialist duties and standard work independently Ability to lead, train, and advise others in all Program Sales accounts and department processes/procedures Self-directed in technical and business matters Strong problem-solving skills while proactively creating and executing solutions Effectively use available resources and promote team collaboration Challenge current work methods, expand tools, and improve standard work Ability to deal with problems in the service parts areaBehavioral & Environmental Requirements: Maintain a positive work attitude. Zero Zone expects all employees to behave and communicate in a manner which will facilitate good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisor. Safety toe shoes and safety glasses are required while in production areas. Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the office and production areas; have use of hands and fingers to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
