Heavy Duty Tire, LLC is a family owned and operated Commercial Tire Facility providing sales and service throughout the country with its headquarters located in West Palm Beach, Fl.We are now accepting applications for a full-time Commercial Tire Service Technician to fill a position at our Houston location. Our ideal candidate is a driven, problem solver with experience working as a technician in the commercial tire industry. Job DescriptionAs an essential part of the team, the Tire Technician is responsible for ensuring the customer experience out in the field by providing a quality service that is fast, efficient and raises the bar for industry standards. Key Responsibilities:Operating and maintaining a service vehicleChanging and repairing commercial and industrial tiresReplacing and repairing rubber tracksProviding prompt and courteous service to our customersWorking with office staff to ensure job details are accurate and properly recorded for billingFollow all safety proceduresQualifications and Skills:Valid drivers license and clear driving record is mandatory for considerationClean background check and drug screeningAbility to lift and/or move tires weighing up to 200 poundsAbility to work in varying weather conditionsProblem solvingMechanically inclined*****Experience with OTR tires prefered but will train candidates that have previous tire experience*****Schedule:Monday - FridayNo NightsLimited weekendsBenefits:401(k)Health InsurancePaid Life InsurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysUniformsProfessional training and certificationPaid weekly
