Summary: The Financial & Administrative Assistant will work together with the Communication & Administrative Director and the Executive Director in financial reporting, and general admin functions of The Antioch Partners (TAP).Reports to: Communications & Administrative Director and Executive DirectorResponsibilities:Please note TAP uses the word "Partners" to refer to our missionary personnel.Communicate with and assist donorsManage donor accounts in Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv) and eTapestry (CRM)Setup reports for Partners in eTapestry to run weekly/monthlyReconcile expenses for Partners and staffReconcile cash advances for PartnersFund cash advances in online banking and enter in QuickBooksFund expenses in online banking and enter in QuickBooksFund grants in the form of wires or EFTs to Partners in online banking and enter in QuickBooksCommunicate with Partners regarding expense reimbursements and wires and EFTs as neededProcess bills in online banking and QuickBooksRun reports for Partners in eTapestry as requestedApply EFT/wire fees to appropriate accountsEnter journal entries in QuickBooksEnter interoffice transfer of funds in QuickBooksEnter checks into eTapestry and handle remote bank depositsAssist Communication/Administrative Director with annual fundraiser planning and executionProvide administrative support to the Executive Director including scheduling meetings and video calls, making travel arrangements, coordinating TAP Board meetings details, and more. Status: This is a full-time salaried position working in the Houston officeSalary & Benefits: Salary is negotiable based on experience. Medical insurance is available. As a mission-sending agency, we would like to discuss with applicants their potential for support-raising all or a portion of their salary. If support-raising is not an option, salary will be fully paid from the TAP Operating Budget. Review: An annual review will be conducted by the Communications/Administrative Director and the Executive Director.Minimum Qualifications:A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a growing faithStrong computer skills, including QuickBooks, Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv), eTapestry (CRM), online banking, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook and a Cloud-based system would also be beneficialStrong interpersonal skills (especially listening skills)A team playerSelf-starter with good organizational and managerial skillsAbility to work with diverse people and congregationsDesired Qualifications:Aptitude and desire to apply new tools and processesA heart for God's mission in the worldAble to be flexible and anticipate needsGood communication (oral and written) skillsAbility to work effectively while balancing a variety of tasks simultaneously.Sense of humorThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work for this position.
