Position Overview Type: Full-Time, Exempt Location: Huntsville, ALTravel: None expectedClearance: Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearanceWork Authorization: U.S. Citizenship requiredSummary/ObjectiveFive Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.Essential FunctionsSupports quality control processes throughout product lifecycle, implement best practices, and ensure that products meet both industry standards and customer expectations.Supports DoD contracts delivering products and services for the full lifecycle air and missile systems, including requirements definition, prototyping, design, integration, test and evaluation and transition into production.Conducts acquisition planning and development by reviewing current and proposed contract language to ensure quality management is addressed. Evaluate and ensure contractors follow accepted quality standards (ISO 9000, AS9100, and CMMI).Ensure Quality of Design by participating in all Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews and provide guidance to the contractor to fix any noted shortcomingsPerform inspections and review functional tests data/documentation for product/system acceptance.Make recommendations to the customer to accept or reject hardware of a suppliers' level of effortProvide independent assessment of supplier actions/documentationProvide Quality oversight activities ensuring compliance with customer requirements of supplier systems/procedures/processesKeep PM informed of technical status of assigned tasks, program status, significant program events, controversial issues, program reviews, and other relevant issues.Required Education and ExperienceMinimum Education-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 14 years' of experience.In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems (QMS) and standards within the hardware manufacturing industry such as: ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 27000, ISO 31000, ITIL and other industry-specific certifications.Familiarity with development and manufacturing processes, hardware testing methods, tools for product inspection, and review of objective evidence of conformance.Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis ensuring that products and services are meeting the quality guidelines through regular assessment.What We Offer:401(k) MatchingCompany EventsDental InsuranceEmployee Recognition ProgramsHealth InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffParental LeavePerformance IncentivesStudent Loan RepaymentTuition ReimbursementVision InsuranceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
