The Operator will betasked with monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products and leading test runs.QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of experience in machining and Haas control2+ years of experience CNC programming, set up and operationBilingual in Spanish a plusAble to do basic mill set upsUnderstand basic Fanuc controlsCapable of interpreting blueprintsAble to understand geometric signs and tolerancesCapable of reading and using measuring instrumentsBasic math skills for calculation related to dimensions, feeds, speeds and tolerancesRESPONSABILITIESSet up, operate and troubleshoot CNC Haas vertical milling machineDevelop and modify CNC programsValidate machine programs and work instructions before machining to assure accuracyof operations under minimal supervisionDetect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine control asrequiredProof programs without assistanceUse precision measuring instruments including calipers, bore gauges and threadgaugesPerform routine machine maintenanceWork as a team player with othersREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent qualification required2 years' experience as a Machinist or job-related educationAbility to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawingsGreat attention to detail with a goal-driven attitudeStrong comprehension and analytical abilitiesGood computer and mathematical skills.Will assist in other jobs in the shop and warehouse as needed to assist co-workers.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining techniques formetalsPhysical ability to stand for extended periods of time
