Minimum:Maximum:Location:Las Vegas, NevadaJob Type:Full timeJob Title:Install JourneymanJob Description:GENERAL PURPOSE:Under the general supervision of the Supervisor or Lead, installs new signs and services existing signs efficiently and within budget.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Reviews blueprints, identifies and prepares necessary materials and supplies for sign installationDetermine layout and installation procedures and measure and mark guidelines to be used for installationsDrives trucks to transport sign materials to installation sites and load and unload trucks with supplies and equipmentAssemble and install products utilizing hand and power tools, operating heavy equipmentMay require scaffolding erection and other work platformsPerforms maintenance and repair to existing signsCompletes paperwork for installations and service workFollows all safety guidelines and regulationsObtains completed work sign-off from customersMARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Cleans and maintains equipmentPerforms other functions as necessary or as assignedNATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:Interacts with customersInteracts with installation helpers and apprenticesInteracts with engineers, production staff, account executives and other departmentsTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
