Accounts Payable Specialist GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Colorado Springs, CO, looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team. The role is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension or full-time conversion. Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable processes, specifically focused on IT-related expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client accounting policies. Prepare and deliver detailed AP reports that meet organizational standards and facilitate smooth transitions between fiscal years. Collaborate closely with IT and Accounting teams to ensure cost-effective management of expenses and accurate financial reporting. Monitor and analyze vendor invoices and payments for discrepancies, ensuring timely resolutions. Reconcile accounts payable records and provide financial insights to internal stakeholders. Support the setup and organization of IT-related costs for the upcoming fiscal year. Qualifications: Proven experience in accounts payable or accounting roles, preferably with a focus on IT-related accounts payable. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive reports. Understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
