Maintenance Route Tech 1

DescriptionPerform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various facilities including, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and ground maintenance.Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, walls, roofs.Perform minor troubleshooting i.e.: repair and adjustment of doors, cabinets, locks, shelves, chairs.Change filters on AC/Heating units.Connect, install, and service appliances.Report mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for repair.Move furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites.Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors.Update work logs for specific site requirements.Respond to alarm calls as assigned.Follow all Company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsTroubleshooting ability.Knowledge of construction methods/tools and ability to do math and read blueprints.Working knowledge of repairing buildings/structuresAt least 21 years of ageValid driver's licenseClean and current DMV printoutCurrently possess or can obtain OSHA 10Ability to stand for long periodsEffectively use a variety of hand and power toolsFollow oral and/or written instructions: maintain work logsAbility to maintain a cooperative and effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work assignmentsAbility to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work flexible hours.
