Assembly Technician

Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Services Technician to support the manufacture and assembly of custom solutions and assembly services. This role works closely with production planners, buyers, estimators, and warehouse associates to build, pack, and ship assemblies that meet exact customer specifications.Candidates with previous experience at Tesla as an Assembly Technician are highly preferred, as this role requires working in a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment with strong attention to efficiency and lean manufacturing principles.The key performance metric for this role is achieving 100% completed assemblies for the day, ensuring productivity, quality, and on-time production.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble products following certification and quality processesPack and ship assemblies according to customer specificationsCoordinate with production planners, buyers, and warehouse teams to meet schedulesPrepare job instruction packets and support production planningMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentApply lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and safetySupport quality objectives including order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipmentFollow all standard work procedures and company processesParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience working in a manufacturing or assembly environmentPrevious experience as an Assembly Technician at Tesla strongly preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailBasic computer, math, and English skillsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftAbility to multi-task and meet production deadlinesWillingness to work 2nd shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)Preferred ExperienceAssembly certificationsWarehouse or distribution experienceExperience in high-volume manufacturing environmentsWork EnvironmentProduction floor and warehouse settingStanding, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shiftFrequent collaboration with internal teamsIf you have experience as an Assembly Technician-especially with a background at Tesla-and are comfortable working a swing shift schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:pay transparency policy is available here:temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
