This role requires a consultative mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable data and technology solutions.You will focus on prospecting, discovery, qualification, solution selling, and long-term relationship building, while working closely with Scalesology's Sales Engineering and Operations teams to deliver value-driven proposals and engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesSell Scalesology Services Through Consultative DiscoveryDeeply understand Scalesology's service offerings and apply them to client business challengesConduct discovery-focused meetings where listening outweighs talkingAsk thoughtful, open-ended questions to uncover root causes, bottlenecks, and operational frictionConnect business pain points to measurable outcomes, ROI, and risk mitigationSell phased, long-term solution journeys rather than one-off projectsProspect and Develop New Client OpportunitiesIdentify and research organizations that align with Scalesology's Ideal Client Profile (ICP)Actively hunt targeted accounts within Scalesology's market sweet spotInitiate outreach through personalized email, LinkedIn, warm introductions, and networkingFollow up consistently to convert outreach into discovery conversationsBuild and expand a defined geographic sales regionBuild and Nurture Referral Partner RelationshipsIdentify and cultivate relationships with trusted advisors such as CPAs, fractional CFOs, MSPs, private equity partners, and consultantsEducate referral partners on Scalesology's ICP, trigger phrases, and service offeringsProactively request, track, and nurture referral opportunitiesThink in years, not transactions, when building partner relationshipsLead Discovery, Qualification, and Opportunity ManagementQualify opportunities to ensure strong alignment with client needs, culture, and Scalesology's capabilitiesIdentify key business constraints and explore their organizational impactCollect relevant business, operational, and technical information during discoveryClearly document qualified opportunities and hand off details to Sales Engineering and Operations teamsManage expectations transparently and follow through on commitmentsTrack Sales Activities and Pipeline in Zoho CRMAccurately log all sales activities, meetings, and notesTrack opportunities through defined pipeline stagesMaintain clear next steps, owners, and timelinesSupport forecasting accuracy and leadership visibilityBe a Scalesology AmbassadorRepresent Scalesology with professionalism, integrity, and positivityActively live and model Scalesology's Core ValuesParticipate in networking events, referral partner meetings, and industry groupsSupport marketing and brand-building initiatives when requestedRequired Experience & Skills6+ years of successful sales experience selling application development, data analytics, or technology consulting servicesStrong consultative selling and discovery skills with a demonstrated ability to ask high-impact questionsProven ability to guide prospects through a structured process while building trust and credibilityStrong business acumen with the ability to speak the language of CEOs, COOs, and CFOsExcellent communication skills, including presenting, storytelling, and value articulationHigh energy, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a strong sense of accountabilityComfortable meeting new people, building relationships, and earning trustBachelor's degree requiredReliable internet bandwidth for Teams and Zoom meetingsAbility to attend in-person client, partner, and networking meetings within territoryBonus ExperienceExperience working with or selling into manufacturing or service-based industriesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus commissionWork-from-home flexibilityHealth insuranceDental and vision insurance401(k) planUnlimited Paid Time Off (PTO)
