Director, Business Development

SUN Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and an influential leader within our hospital's growth and outreach efforts. This senior-level role is ideal for a licensed clinician who brings deep experience in healthcare business development, market expansion, and strategic planning, along with a strong understanding of inpatient levels of care.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving referral relationships, identifying emerging market opportunities, and positioning behavioral health services for sustainable success. Familiarity with the Kentucky healthcare market-including its behavioral health landscape, community stakeholders, and referral networks-is strongly preferred.As the Director of Business Development, you will: Lead the development and execution of strategic business initiatives aligned with our mission of solving unmet needs. Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, collaborating closely with the CEO to shape the facility's long-term vision. Oversee outreach, marketing, and growth strategies that strengthen our presence across the region. Build and nurture partnerships with clinical, community, and organizational stakeholders.
