This is a leadership opportunity for a hands-on mechanic who takes pride in reliability, safety, and teamwork. What You'll Do • Lead and mentor shop technicians and mechanics • Oversee fleet maintenance and repair for Class 7/8 diesel trucks • Diagnose and repair engines, hydraulics, electrical, and PTO systems • Manage preventive maintenance programs and shop workflow • Ensure full DOT, OSHA, and EPA compliance • Keep the fleet ready for 24/7 emergency response operations What You Bring • ASE Certification (Master level a plus) • 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience - ideally in waste, industrial, or environmental services • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability • Leadership experience in a shop or fleet setting • CDL or willingness to obtain one • Safety-first mindset and solid organizational skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and certifications Performance-based incentives Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, retirement Tools, equipment, and uniforms provided Advancement opportunities into Fleet Management If you're looking to lead a skilled team, take ownership of fleet reliability, and keep critical industrial operations moving - this role is for you.
