This vital role supports our aircraft maintenance operations by performing avionics maintenance, avionics system upgrades, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring all components meet industry safety standards. As an Avionics Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the high-quality standards that our clients rely on. If you have a passion for aviation electronics, a sharp eye for detail, and the technical expertise to keep aircraft systems operating safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you!What You'll Do• Perform avionics recurrent scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on various systems including Com, Nav, DME, WX Radar, EFIS, and AltimetersConduct system repairs, pitot/static and transponder system testing, and RVSM checksExecute equipment installations and modifications, including database and firmware updatesMaintain detailed documentation for airworthiness directive and service bulletin compliancePerform incoming and outgoing inspections on avionics systemsStay updated with the latest industry advancements and technological developmentsFollow electrical schematics and maintain Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) complianceWhat You Bring to the TableRequired Qualifications and Skills:• Experience with avionics tooling including Multimeter, Megger, and Milliohm meterProven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing avionics systemsStrong knowledge of altitude reporting systems and RVSM requirementsExperience with Datalink Weather and Traffic Systems, GPWS, etc.Ability to perform pitot/static and transponder system testingMust live locally or be willing to relocateWilling to work overtime, including weekendsStrong attention to detail and adherence to safety standardsPreferred Qualifications:• Avionics associate's degreeA&P licenseInstallation experience with various makes and models of MFD, GPS, and Nav/ComExpertise with Garmin systems (G1000NXi, GTN750), GTS820, and GTX335/345Previous experience with Garmin, Collins, and L3 systemsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to adapt to new technologies and advancements in the aviation industryWho You AreYou're a technically skilled, detail-oriented avionics professional who takes pride in precision work.
