**Description:** You will be the Aircraft Painter for the team which is responsible for setting up various types of spray painting equipment and applying primer, finish, and protective paint and paint/-like coatings to parts and subassemblies/. **What You Will Be Doing** As the Aircraft Painter, you will be responsible for obtaining paint types, colors, number of coats, and areas to be painted from work orders, engineering drawings, and process specifications/. Your responsibilities will include: + Mixing paints to specified proportions and to obtain proper consistency for application + Performing incidental preparatory duties such as cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting and masking to skin breaks or other physical references + Laying out for, masking, and spraying all types of primer, finish, and protective coatings on surfaces of detail parts and of sub/-assemblies + Making operating adjustments to painting equipment to control spray pattern, density, and splatter as required + Spray painting crew, equipment, passenger, stowage, and wheel/-well compartments, and other interior surfaces of unstuffed major aircraft assemblies **What's In It For You** We are committed to supporting your work/-life balance and overall well/-being, offering flexible scheduling options/. You will have excellent problem/-solving skills, the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process specifications, and the ability to work with decimals, fractions, and proportions/. **Further Information About This Opportunity** MUST BE A U/.S/. CITIZEN /- This position is located at a facility that requires special access/. Work schedule currently 4x10, may go to 3x12/. GAhourly **Basic Qualifications:** A Candidate is required to have the following minimum level of experience: 1/. One year of production spray painting experience, either aircraft or auto body/. /(ability to operate spray painting equipment and use acceptable spray painting techniques/)/. OR 2/.
