CNC Machinist

Job Summary: Set-up, handle, and maintain CNC machinery: VMC, Digitally Controlled Process Equipment as well as Drills, Presses and manual shop tools. Attention to detail, material specifications and quantities is required. You must be a reliable, individual with a keen eye for detail and ability to work promptly while ensuring strict standards of safety and quality. CNC Machinist responsibilities• Program and Operate CNC machines, part inspection, and general maintenance tasks• Control and edit machine settings to fit the requirements of each task• Inspect and address any machine issues during shift• Carry out suitable tasks based on production needs• Run Test Batches to insure Part Compliance to specification• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of machine/work area• Provide help to other technicians and material handler as neededCNC Machinist requirements• 2 years CNC Programming and Tooling Specifying with Production CNC Equipment, capable of producing high quality parts from print or drawing.• GED/High School Diploma• Formal CNC Programming and Machinist Technical Training• Physical capacity to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis• Ability to comprehend schematics and technical drawings• Strong attention to detail combined with analytical and problems-solving skills• Overtime may apply due to the needs of the business
