We have the perfect role for an engaging professional like you!Polsinelli is seeking a Paralegal to support the Firm's Real Estate Department in the Boston office. CORE RESPONSIBILITIESPerform and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and underlying documentsAssist in preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documentsCoordinate closing of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financings, and debt and equity transactions including signature page packages, document delivery, monitor closing checklists, handle recording requirements at closingPrepare closing booksNotarize various documents related to real estate transactions and foreclosure salesPrepare and record filings in the registries and in Land CourtAssist in preparation for foreclosure salesAttend foreclosures salesDraft and file UCC financing statementsOrder and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation and similar searchesPrepare and file formation documentsDraft leases, purchase contracts, easements, deeds, and other real property related documentsWork on special assignments that may require conducting routine factual research, preparing reports, and handling associated filingsInterface with firm clients and other outside entities regarding assigned mattersExecute on the minute details of a project or task, in addition to providing alternative options/solutions to best serve internal and external clientsResearch and execute on necessary procedures to meet client requestsRetrieve, organize, review, analyze, and summarize documentsEffectively set priorities, provide timely updates, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projectsRemain proficient in Microsoft Suite/Outlook, InTapp, iManage, and other programs used in practice areaMeticulous time recording skills to accurately bill clientsCOMPUTER APPLICATIONS USEDMicrosoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointKofaxiManageOrbitalREQUIREMENTSParalegal Certificate or related degree preferredNotary in the Commonwealth of MA5 Years ExperienceBillable requirement: 1600 hours per year5 days in officeStart time for this role will be either 8:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. (Work day hours Monday to Thursday 7.75 hours and Friday 7.5 hours plus overtime when necessary)The budgeted salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000.
