Our client in the Chatsworth CA area is a division of a world leading design and manufacturer of aerospace products and is looking for several CATIA V5 Designers / Drafters responsible for providing drafting and design support to their engineering department.Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business 20 years in the US and 8 years in Europe. CATIA V5 Designer / Drafter - Los Angeles CA Description: Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, notes and discussions with engineers, and standard data. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or manual tools. Completes layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices or may develop complete major layouts of engineering drawings. Within parameters determines scaling required; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.Basic Qualifications:• Highly proficient in CATIA V5• Experienced with GD&T• Experienced creating designs/drawings/assemblies/BOMs • Strong organizational and communication skillsDesired Skills:Familiar with design for Aircraft Interior ProductsFamiliar with drawing release and change processesFamiliar with ASME Y14.100, Y14.24, Y14.5 - 2009If you wish to be submitted please send an updated resume in Word format with your pay requirements and availability to Trace at trace@ for either direct or contract preferences and we will follow up with more details
