About OnSite PartnersOnSite Partners' mission is to empower each customer in achieving success through the design and delivery of collaborative, creative and comprehensive energy solutions.Overview OnSite Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead all scheduled and unscheduled operations and maintenance (O&M) activities across renewable, distributed generation technologies, and transmission projects. This role supervises field crews, coordinates planned outages and emergency response, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.The Foreman serves as the on-site technical leader for electrical work including system shutdowns, commissioning support, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple voltage classes. This position reports to the Director of Construction. Leadership & SupervisionLead and supervise electricians and technicians during daily operationsPlan, assign, and oversee scheduled preventive maintenance activitiesDirect unscheduled corrective maintenance and emergency repairsSupervise major planned outages and system shutdownsConduct job briefings and safety meetingsParticipate in hiring and performance practices for the O&M execution teamMaintenance & OperationsOversee maintenance of:Wind turbinesSolar PV systemsReciprocating engine generator systemsBattery energy storage systems (BESS)Fuel cellsSubstations, transformers, switchgear, and protective relaysOther technologies as applicableManage work across varying AC and DC voltage classes including:Low voltage control systems480V-600V power distributionMedium voltage systemsHigh voltage systems (as qualified)Work on AC and DC systemsCoordinate lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and arc-flash safety controlsLead troubleshooting of complex electrical faultsReview and interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, and protection settingsEnsure proper testing, torque verification, insulation resistance testing, and commissioning proceduresParticipate in construction activities to the extent needed by the businessTravel to project sites as required (Lead System Operator on-call duties Provides after-hours emergency response, ensuring rapid assessment, safe mitigation, and restoration of critical systemsDevelop shutdown scopes and work plansCoordinate manpower, materials, tools, and subcontractorsManage outage timelines to minimize operational impactEnsure safe energization and return-to-service proceduresDocument shutdown activities and lessons learnedEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, MSHA, and site-specific safety standardsComplete maintenance documentation and reportsCoordinate with operations, engineering, and management teamsRequired QualificationsJourneyman Electrician license (or equivalent experience)10+ years of industrial or power generation electrical experienceDemonstrated leadership or supervisory experienceExperience leading electrical shutdowns or planned outagesStrong knowledge of electrical systems across multiple voltage classesAbility to read and interpret complex electrical drawingsValid driver's licenseAbility to pass background check and drug screening Preferred QualificationsExperience in renewable energy or utility-scale power generationExperience with protective relays and medium-voltage terminationsOSHA 30 certificationNFPA 70E trainingExperience managing subcontractorsMSHA Part 46 certification Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 30 poundsWork at heights and in confined spacesOutdoor work in varying weather conditionsAbility to climb ladders, stand, kneel, bend, and work in various physical positions for extended periods as requiredAbility to respond to after-hours emergencies
