Leads project implementation efforts by working with customers and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Assists in data collection and data interpretation for Engineering Studies and general application analysis.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develops warehousing storage and automation solutions and creates appropriate drawingsCreates bills of material and determines project costsSupports proposal generation and sales processes led by customer facing sales staff, as requiredAccompanies sales staff on sales calls to provide technical expertisePerforms effective project management during implementationRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Skilled in AutoCAD products, knowledge of a 3D modeling program helpfulKnowledge of racking and automated warehousing/distribution solutions. ie. Conveyor, AS/RS, AGVs, Mobile Rack, etc. a plusProficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and ProjectSkilled in time-management and maintenance of project deadlinesProficient in effective communication with customers, suppliers, contractors and permitting authoritiesProficient both written and oral communicationsAbility to analyze data to develop customer solutionsAbility to apply sound judgment, reasoning, and strong analytical problem-solving skillsSalary range based on experience: 65K - 82KEducation and Experience:This position requires an Engineering degree, preferably Industrial or Mechanical, and a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in the material handling industry.
