Controller

Our client is a well-established financial services firm headquartered in Miami. They are seeking a Controller who will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role will work closely with the CFO and executive leadership team and will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial strategy and operational growth.Responsibilities:Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPrepare and review financial statements and internal reportsManage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entriesInteract with financial institutions that the company has relationships withMaintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting proceduresSupport the CFO with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecastingCoordinate with external auditors and tax advisorsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance8+ years of progressive accounting experienceExperience within financial services, banking, investment management, or related industries are strongly preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingFluent in Spanish and English (required)Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume for confidential consideration.
