Dermatology Practice Manager / Medical Practice AdministratorPacific Skin and Cosmetic DermatologySan Francisco, CA (with occasional travel to Corte Madera)Pacific Skin and Cosmetic Dermatology is seeking an experienced Medical Practice Administrator to lead our busy dermatology practice in San Francisco. This role will also require occasional visits to our Corte Madera office when onboarding new staff or implementing new protocols.The ideal candidate is a proven healthcare leader with strong experience in medical office operations, revenue cycle management, and supervisory responsibilities. Providing feedback when needed and requestedConsistent communication with team regarding clinic flow, policy updates, and other operationsParticipate in billing audits, charge processing, registration workflows, customer service, and scheduling efficiencyPerform administrative functions such as:Tracking and reporting statistical dataReviewing and managing supply ordersAddressing patient concernsPreparing correspondence and reportsScheduling meetings and appointmentsServe as the primary point of contact for IT issues, acting as coordinator, trainer, and system "superuser"Recommend and implement operational improvements to increase productivity, consistency, and cost efficiencyAssist in developing, maintaining, and updating clinic policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality controlSupport payroll timekeeping processes in accordance with regulatory requirementsManage medical records and records requests in compliance with State and Federal regulationsAssist with special projects, attend meetings as required, and maintain strong interdepartmental relationshipsQualificationsBachelor's degree required in health care administration, business administration or a similar fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management systemsExcellent quantitative, budgeting, and financial management skillsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
