Location:EAC (Education and Administration Center)Recruiting Start Date:02/12/2026Estimated Start Date:08/01/2026A licensed professional who organizes and facilitates the learning process utilizing a variety of evidence-based instructional practices and applicable technology; participates in a community of learning to develop and refine knowledge and skills for the academic, civic, social and emotional success of students; consistently evaluates student progress, makes appropriate adjustments, and communicates student progress; regularly collaborates, reflects, and grows to improve learning opportunities for students.This position supports the Talented and Gifted (TAG) program and its implementation in Academy District 20.This position requires the Gifted and Talented Core or Specialist (PreK - 12) endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education.Subject to annual budgetary considerations, the typical stipend offered annually is 20% of the teacher base pay for additional work beyond the scheduled work day and/or work calendar as determined by the supervising administrator.The following statements are illustrative of the essential functions of the job and other key duties that may be required. The district reserves the right to modify or change the duties or the essential functions of this job at any time.Serves as a resource for Talented and Gifted (TAG) teachers, administrators, departments and families in the areas of gifted student needs, gifted student identification, acceleration, enrichment, early access, and development of Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs), etc.Facilitates TAG parent engagement events and provides support and guidance for TAG family involvement activitiesProvides support in the assessment of TAG students or students who might qualify for TAGAssists teachers and administrators in data analysis of state screening and annual assessment results for TAG students or students who might qualify for TAGProvides guidance and expertise on current best-practices and research in the education of TAG studentsDemonstrates mastery of and pedagogical expertise in gifted and talented educationFollows district and state policy statements, guidelines, and legal requirements related to gifted and talented educationProvides and/or facilitates professional learning for TAG teachers, staff, administrators, and familiesCollaborates as an active member of Special Populations, supporting initiatives, contributing to planning efforts, and engaging in cross-team work to advance goalsSupports specified district enrichment activities that enhance student opportunitiesReports consistently for work as scheduledPerforms other duties as assignedAttains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance StandardsAdvocates for schools/departments and students by partnering with students, families, and communities as appropriateAnalyzes student learning, development, and growth;
