To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Development Services Coordinator to provide project due diligence, public and private sector plan review and permitting services. This role will report to Stephanie Merdan, Development Services Team Lead.Essential DutiesConduct thorough project due diligence, research, and documentation of entitlement activities, including compiling design guidelines, zoning information, and relevant maps and reportsDevelop and implement effective strategies to secure necessary project approvalsApply advanced knowledge of public and private sector permitting across diverse project typesPrepare detailed plan review and permit packages, schedules, and presentation materialsLead and coordinate pre-application conference meetings with stakeholders and review entitiesDraft and submit permit and plan review applications, including supporting narratives and responsesServe as liaison with plan review and permitting agencies to facilitate approvalsProactively seek opportunities to streamline and accelerate review processesCollaborate with internal team members and external consultants across multiple disciplinesCultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and review authoritiesMaintain accurate records of permitting processes and stakeholder interactionsMonitor and manage permit-related tasks and provide timely updates to Project ManagersPerform quality assurance reviews before and after submittalsParticipate in client meetings and project presentations as neededSupport public engagement efforts through workshops and presentationsRepresent projects during public meetings, including City Council and Planning Commission sessionsLeverage professional and personal networks to identify and pursue new business opportunitiesWe've listed a compensation range that reflects our expectations for this role, including both direct and indirect components.
