This team is known for delivering cutting-edge solutions across engineering, testing, prototyping, and manufacturing on a global scale.This is a great opportunity for a Capital Planning Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys leading complex construction and facilities projects from concept through completion.Position OverviewThe Capital Planning Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of capital projects-from initial scope development and budgeting through execution and final closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals, while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.This position also provides leadership and oversight to project coordinators and supports cross-functional collaboration across operations, purchasing, IT, and facilities teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with key stakeholdersDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocationsManage projects from concept through completion and closeoutBudgeting & Cost ManagementPrepare accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and overheadConduct vendor bid analysis and support contract negotiationsManage budgets, track KPIs, and oversee change ordersLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and support project coordinators and internal team membersDelegate tasks, set expectations, and ensure project alignment across teamsVendor & Stakeholder CoordinationManage procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract managementCollaborate with internal teams (operations, IT, purchasing) to ensure seamless executionCoordinate IT infrastructure integration for facility readinessCompliance & QualityEnsure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirementsConduct site inspections and proactively address risks or delaysSupport internal quality standards and documentation processesFacilities & Design StandardsStandardize interior finishes, furniture, and building specifications across projectsReview architectural drawings, engineering documents, and technical specificationsQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field8+ years of experience in capital project management, construction, or facilitiesExperience leading teams or managing project staffStrong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawingsExcellent organizational and project management skillsStrong communication skills across all levels of an organizationProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)PreferredExperience with interior building specifications and space planningBackground in project management, accounting, or financeFamiliarity with AutoCADExperience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systemsWhy This RoleLead high-impact capital and facilities projectsWork in a collaborative, cross-functional environmentOpportunity to influence design standards and long-term infrastructure planningCompetitive compensation and strong benefits packageEOE (including Disability/Veterans)How to Apply for This Job:To apply for this position, please follow these steps: Apply for this job with your current resume.
