ANALYST, SUSTAINABILITYSodali & Co is a leading provider of shareholder engagement advisory and governance consulting services to corporate clients around the world. In addition to listed and private companies, the firm's clients include mutual funds, ETFs, stock exchanges and membership associations.The OpportunityWe are seeking early-stage candidates for this Analyst, Sustainability role to work within our Sustainability Practice as part of teams that advise our clients through multifaceted consulting engagements across sectors to develop sustainability strategies that drive performance. You will conduct complex analyses and research to create and contribute to client deliverables. This early-career individual contributor position plays a key role in supporting project teams. You will be trained in our approach to client work and all our services and methodologies.This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in either (or both!) our midtown NYC or Stamford, CT office at least 3+ days/week.Responsibilities Collaborate with team members to produce high quality, visually compelling and actionable deliverables.Guided by client's needs,leverageavailable tools to complete research requests and synthesize findings into concise format for sharing with executives.Support robustsustainability and climategap analyses,peer benchmarking,recommendations, and strategic action plans aligned with key market andstakeholdertrends and client focus areas. Support the end-to-end process of developing clients' annual sustainability and ESG reports in partnership with a cross-functional team of stakeholders. Support stakeholder engagement interviews across a variety ofcorporatefunctions to sourcesustainabilityperformance data and information. Support calculation of key ESG performance metrics, such as GHG inventory calculations, using our proprietary tools and client-provided data, in alignment withspecific standardssuch as the GHG ProtocolContribute to firm development by supporting various firm business development, communication,service development,and thought leadership activities. Support other administrative and client account management needs. Successful Candidates Would Havepreviousexperience in corporate sustainability/ESG reporting or general management consulting withdemonstratedinterest insustainabilityissues. Understand sustainability/ESG and climate accounting, management, and disclosure standards and regulatory frameworks such as,GRI,TCFD,ISSB'sIFRSS1 and S2, SASB, SBTi, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CA SB 253, CA SB 261,and/orEU CSRD.Have experience with ESG ratings providers and assessments such as ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP,EcoVadis, S&P CSA,and/orGRESB.Strongdata analysis acumen, comfort withprompt engineering and use of AI enginesto accelerate initial deliverable development,AI tools, and technicaldatabase management skills. Be able to communicate and give presentations to internal stakeholders effectively and professionally.Possess strong writing and editing abilities. Be committed to learning new concepts and industry best practices within a fast-paced, consulting environment. Be comfortable adapting whenprojectneeds change, and approach work with a solutions-oriented mindset.Be comfortable executing multiple projects and high-quality deliverables simultaneously with excellent time management skillsand prioritization. DemonstrateproficiencywithMicrosoft Officeapplications, particularlyPowerPoint,Excel, and CoPilot.PowerBIexperience isaplus.Role Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 0-2years of relevant professional experience (i.e., climate change, sustainability and ESG, management consulting,riskand data management) All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
