Fire Protection DesignerPosition Overview The Fire Protection Designer will be responsible for developing and designing fire protection systems for various building projects. This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that fire safety standards and regulations are met while providing innovative design solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop fire protection systems including fire sprinklers, alarms, and suppression systems.Utilize AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK software for drafting and designing fire protection layouts.Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.Conduct hydraulic calculations and design analysis to ensure system effectiveness.Prepare and submit design documents for review and approval by authorities having jurisdiction.Stay updated on local fire codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all designs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in fire protection system design and engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, and Revit software.Knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.BenefitsHealth / Dental / VisionPTO401k MatchBonus
