Job Title: Painter Duration: 6 Months Temp To Hire Location: Anniston AL 36207 Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00AM Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. W2***EDUCATION: MINIMUM HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED***MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL PAINTING EXPERIENCEWORKING HOURS: 3:30 PM - 2:00AM Potential overtime as business requires TRAINING WILL BE ON DAYS 5AM - 3:30PM - WILL THEN MOVE TO NIGHT SHIFT (THE DURATION OF TRAINING WOULD DEPEND ON THE INDIVIDUALS ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY)This role offers a $2.00 shift differential when working on nightsMANAGER'S NOTES BELOW: Safety focused, comfortable in manufacturing facility, work in elements of weather, comfortable getting dirtyA leading manufacturer of Concrete Lighting Poles, has an immediate opening for an experienced painter in our Anniston, Alabama plant. We make employee safety, professional development, innovation, and customer service our top priority.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Ability to work alone as well as with others - Identify any Non-Conforming Products - Safe work habits - Good attendance record - Seniority (if skills are equal, seniority will decide) - Good verbal/written communication skills - Forklift trained and have OSHA license for forklift and forklift safety - Ability to identify, label, and counts parts in the warehouse - Ability to use common hand tools: measuring tape, computer, bandings, and wrappings Ability to interpret drawings and verify parts received against drawings - Ability to prioritize workload to keep the production line moving - Ability to perform cycle counts when requested - Ability to read and interpret production schedule - Report any low or level stocks to the supervisor - Any other duties assigned by the supervision - Must be able to learn and operate within the Oracle system.SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Excellent safety record and habits. - Ability to work alone or in a team. - Keep the work area clean and orderly. - Excellent work ethics and habits.EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure required for the job. - Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and drawings required to carry out the job. - Must be able to document the results of his/her job. - Must be able to keep a sufficient lead in a manner that maintains shipping flow. - Must be able to lift 50 lbsCONCLUDING - The operator shall consider him/herself as part of a team working towards the same goal and consider your fellow workers as his/her customers. - Must be able to work efficiently and effectively without supervision.
