We deploy them, support them, and ensure they perform in the real world.As a Robotics Technician II based in Atlanta, you will own the performance and reliability of robots deployed across customer sites in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina.This is a high-ownership, customer-facing regional role. You will build strong working relationships with onsite maintenance teams, proactively manage preventive maintenance schedules, deploy new robotic systems, and support remote troubleshooting efforts.You are not just fixing equipment. You are protecting uptime, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring our fleet performs consistently across your region.Regional Fleet OwnershipServe as the primary technical owner for robots deployed at customer sites in GA, FL, and NCEnsure uptime targets are consistently achieved across your regionIdentify trends and recurring failures to improve overall fleet reliabilityCustomer Relationship & Site PartnershipBuild strong working relationships with customer onsite maintenance teamsAct as the trusted technical liaison between Tutor and the customerClearly communicate system health, risks, and action plansPreventive Maintenance & Field SupportSchedule and execute preventive maintenance (PM) visitsPerform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting independentlyDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issuesDeployment & ExpansionDeploy and commission new robots at customer sitesSupport system upgrades and performance improvementsRemote Support & EnablementSupport remote service calls and guide customer maintenance teams through low-level repairsEmpower customers to perform approved service procedures safely and correctlySpare Parts & Inventory OwnershipEnsure customers maintain proper spare parts inventory onsiteAudit spare parts kits during site visitsCoordinate replenishment and recommend stocking levelsDocumentation & EscalationMaintain accurate service logs and ticket documentationEscalate systemic issues to Engineering while driving immediate containmentRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in robotics, automation, industrial maintenance, or electromechanical systemsStrong troubleshooting capability across mechanical and electrical systemsProven customer-facing or field service experienceAbility to operate independently across multiple sitesAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsValid driver's licenseAbility to travel up to 75%, including short-notice travelPreferred QualificationsExperience deploying or commissioning industrial equipmentFamiliarity with PLC troubleshooting, sensors, motors, pneumatics, and networking basicsExperience guiding customers through remote repair proceduresSpare parts planning and inventory management experienceBilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferredWork Environment & Physical RequirementsField-based role operating from Atlanta, GAFrequent travel across GA, FL, and NCAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in warehouse and industrial environmentsAbility to stand, climb, kneel, and work in confined or elevated spacesOccasional evening, weekend, or on-call support as needed$70,000 - $85,000 a yearWhy Tutor:Own a region and have a direct impact on uptimeHigh autonomy and field leadership responsibilityDirect customer influence and relationship ownershipOpportunity to deploy and scale real-world robotics systemsFast-moving startup with accountability and ownership
