We are seeking a skilled A&P Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain our fleet to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has experience working on turbine and jet aircraft, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time positions based in our Orlando, Florida location.Schedule: 4 days a week 10 hour shifts Responsibilities:Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.Conduct detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframes, engines, avionics, and other aircraft systems.Document all maintenance actions accurately in maintenance logs and comply with all reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Work collaboratively with pilots, dispatchers, and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft availability.Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to complete maintenance tasks effectively.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and on the tarmac.Stay up to date with industry best practices, training, and certifications.Performs other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities: FAA A&P Certification (required)2+ years of experience working on Learjet, Bombardier, or other business aircraft (strongly preferred)Experience with Honeywell engines (highly valued)Strong knowledge of FAA Part 91/135 maintenance requirementsAbility to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and aircraft maintenance manualsSkilled with maintenance tools, diagnostic systems, and computerized maintenance trackingStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressureMust be able to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environmentsFlexibility to work nights, weekends, on-call shifts, and occasional travelMust possess and maintain a valid Driver's LicenseEducation and Experience:FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification (Required)Preferred 2+years of working on Lear/Bombardier or business jetsHoneywell engine experience highly valuedWhy Northern Jet?Work on a prestige fleet of private aircraft in a clean, well-equipped facilityJoin a tight-knit, experienced team who values precision and professionalismBe part of a growing organization where your expertise is recognized and respectedEnjoy stability, and competitive payYour Career.
