If you're energized by strategic purchasing,supplier management, and building procurement processes from the ground up,this role is for you.The Senior Buyer willplay a critical role in establishing and scaling HSP US's procurement andsupply chain function. This position is ideal for a proactive, analyticalprofessional who can balance strategic sourcing with hands-on purchasingexecution. You will support both domestic and international procurement whilehelping define best-in-class purchasing processes for a high-growthmanufacturing environment.As a fast-growingoperation, we are building state-of-the-art machining capabilities, cutting-edgeprocesses, and a high-performance culture centered around quality, safety, andinnovation.Joining our team meansbeing part of a once-in-a-generation start-up environment where you help laythe foundation for operational excellence for years to come.What We Are Looking For! • Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for direct and indirectmaterials in a manufacturing environment • Develop, evaluate, and maintain supplier relationships to ensurequality, cost, and delivery performance • Execute purchase orders, negotiatepricing, and manage supplier contracts and terms • Support sourcing initiatives, including supplier identification, RFQs,cost analysis, and supplier onboarding • Collaborate with engineering,production, and quality teams to understand technical requirements and ensurematerial compatibility • Maintain accurate purchasing data, lead times, and supplierperformance metrics in SAP S/4HANA • Resolve supply issues, shortages, delays, and quality concerns withurgency and professionalism • Support inventory planning, safety stock strategies, and materialavailability for production • Analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and supportcontinuous improvement initiatives • Prepare purchasing reports, dashboards,and cost analyses using advanced Excel skills • Assist in building scalable procurement workflows, SOPs, anddocumentation for a startup environment • Coordinate with logistics andwarehouse teams to ensure smooth inbound material flow What You Will Bring! 5-10 years of purchasing or supply chain experience ina manufacturing environment • Strong proficiency with SAP S/4HANA purchasing, MRP, and supplier management modules • Experience in technical purchasing, includingreading drawings, understanding specifications, and supporting engineering-drivenprocurement • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP,data analysis) • Experience with sourcing, RFQs, cost analysis, andsupplier negotiations • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup-styleenvironment where processes are evolving • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solvingskills • Experience working with domestic and internationalsuppliers • Familiarity with the grid power, high-voltage, orheavy industrial sector is a plus • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business,Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred Our Story& Our Impact HSP is a global leader in high-voltage bushing technology, delivering innovative, reliable solutions that keep the energy sector moving.
