Start date: May 2026-August 2026**On-site at various Byline Bank Chicagoland offices****Flexibility to work full-time or part-time**Objective of Position:We are seeking a motivated and analytically curious Summer Intern to support the Byline Bank Wealth Management team. The intern will work closely with portfolio managers and investment professionals, contributing to the firm's equity investment process, economic research efforts, and day-to-day portfolio management activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world investment decision-making and client portfolio management within a collaborative, professional environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Gather, organize, and analyze financial, market, and economic data to support the firm's equity investment processAssist with company-level and sector research, including review of financial statements, earnings materials, and market developmentsSupport macroeconomic research, including tracking economic indicators, policy developments, and market trendsHelp prepare investment and market commentary, charts, and summary materials for internal discussions and client communicationsWork with portfolio managers and client advisors on portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and risk reportingUtilize the Bloomberg terminal and other data sources to retrieve and interpret relevant market informationPerform general analytical and administrative tasks that support the daily operations of client portfolio managersQualifications:Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related fieldCoursework in investments, financial markets, corporate finance, or economics strongly preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and economic dataProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (including charts, tables, and presentation formatting)Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal functions is a plus High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to communicate clearly, both written and verballyProfessional demeanor, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to learnPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Specific in-office days may vary and will be discussed during the interview process.Compensation & Benefits:Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals.
