Previous experience in an IT support role, 2-3+ years preferred. 2-3+ years' experience with Windows and MacOS Chrome/Google OS Networking knowledge Cloud Infrastructure background Summary/Objective In this role, the Service Desk Support Specialist will provide a variety of specialized services to support the delivery of IT Technical to staff and students. The IT services to be provided will require various levels of skill sets and subject matter expertise depending on task complexity. The IT environment is a Google Chrome OS, Microsoft (MS)/Intel-Based and Apple Macintosh/Mchip (MAC) OS distributed computing infrastructure. The IT environment utilized Google, Microsoft Office applications, JAMF, Azure Active Directory (AD) Organizational Units (OU), networking protocols, network printers, in addition to multiple software/Hardware applications such as Adobe suite, Google admin console, Valcom, SIP. The primary function is to provide on-site Tier II technical support including all tasks required by administration and management. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware and software components of our organization Provide support to users by being the first point of contact for error reporting Resolve Tier I and Tier II technical issues related to computers, tablets, and other office systems Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues on Windows, macOS and iOS Chrome OS operating systems Contribute to creating and maintaining documentation for a knowledge base Other duties as assigned by supervisor or building leadership Supervisory Responsibilities: None Work Environment/ Physical DemandsAbility to sit for long periods of time, numerous distractions, visual, auditory and ambulatory acuity important Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds TravelNone Additional Qualifications:Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students.
