Here's why: You will help residents stay active, healthy, and engaged by creating fun and meaningful wellness experiences that support both physical and emotional well-being. Your responsibilities will include: * Planning and leading engaging fitness and wellness programs for residents across all levels of care * Leading exercise classes and demonstrations using Arbor's approved fitness programs * Encouraging residents to participate in activities that support healthy lifestyles and personal wellness goals * Tracking participation and program effectiveness using engagement software tools * Collaborating with the Engagement Director and Dining Director to promote holistic wellness through classes, guest speakers, and healthy lifestyle initiatives * Supporting the overall engagement calendar and helping create positive, meaningful experiences for residents * Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe environment for exercise programs * Demonstrating outstanding customer service while living out the Arbor Service Way every day Ideal Candidates Have: * A passion for health, fitness, and working with older adults * Experience leading group fitness or wellness programs * Knowledge of exercise techniques appropriate for seniors * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Basic computer and technology skills * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid driver's license Certifications (Preferred but not required at hire) * Group fitness or personal training certification * CPR and First Aid certification * Arthritis Foundation Exercise Leader * SilverSneakers Instructor * Tai Chi, Yoga, Zumba, or similar wellness programs Fitness certification through AAAI/ISMA may be required within 6 months of hire and can be provided by Arbor.
