Repair Technician I

Description:Max Bill Rate $34.00 M-F 8-5, 40 hrs Location address (partner site): Stratix 4920 Avalon Ridge Pkwy. Peachtree Corners, GA 30071 Detailed Reasoning for Opening: Repair Technician left for career advancement. Current staffing cannot maintain adequate repair turn times. Position involves onsite contract field service repair delivery at fixed partner location, Stratix, Peachtree Corners, GA. This position maintains service repairs at partner facility for multiple end user customers. Repairs Scanners EVM Responsibilities • Performs setup, testing and modular level repair to whole units. • Maintains accurate record keeping for individual repairs. • Uses custom software testing suites to diagnose/validate hardware failure. • Recognizes failures, follows engineering changes, and determines appropriate action. • Uses equipment such as a voltmeter, computer, and special test fixtures. • Maintains production and quality output standards. • Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required • ?1 year experience • General math skills. • Experience as a production assembler, having performed assembly operations to required quality levels and job standards • Some knowledge of computers and test equipment is required. • Manual dexterity and visual coordination are required. • Prior use of various hand tools. • Ability to stand and sit on production line throughout the shift. • Works well with others.
